Monday

LEA stick
Semogue 2012 SE
GEM OCMM
GEM blade
Pinaud Vanilla AS

A good way to clear a few days of growth, wiped away in a couple of passes.

Pre:Shave: I Coloniali
Soap: Truefitt & Hill
Brush:Semogue 620
Razor: CJB Custom Scales
Blade: Feather
Post:Shave: Alum Block
Post:Shave 2: I Coloniali Facial and Aftershave Balm

Much better shave today using the CJB, just a couple of weepers taken care of with the alum. I would go as far as to say a DFS still having trouble with the ATG move, but making progress. Have a great week Gents.

Monday 18th August 2014
Prep: Shower
Razor: Henckels Friodur 5/8ths
Brush: Semogue 1800 Boar
Soap: Speick Stick Grated
Aftershave; Astral Cream (light)
EDT: CK Obsession

A good shave; after fourteen shaves I have now mastered the very basics ie holding the razor in either hand moving the razor around my face and skin stretching. I feel I can now move on and really learn to get a quality shave with a straight.

One nick shaving back up under the neck with the reverse hold on the razor.

Regards
Dick.

Prep: Hot wash with dove soap
Brush: Vie-Long Horse
Soap: Nannys Silly soap Signature (White Grape & Bamboo)
Razor: 1966 Slim Adjustable (4)
Blade: Gillette 7Oclock Yellow (3)
Post: Professor Blightys post shave tonic (Hyperion from the Keats range).
EDT: XBolt

Nice smooth shave today with only 1 weeper in the same spot as before just under the nose, I am convinced its caused by the blade end and me trying to get too close, the styptic sorted it out though. I am enjoying this adjustable and getting to know it. I havent used the alum much since starting with this razor as I feel the post shave tonic/AS gives me just as much feedback.

Monday

Afternoon, everyone.

Prep: Claus Porto's Lime-oil face soap
Razor: EJ DE89
Blade: Polsilver SI (3)
Brush: Ecotools Kabuki
Shave soap: MWF
Aftershave: Old Spice Whitewater
Cologne: Iceberg Twice

A bit of extra concentration this morning yielded an excellent and nick-free shave.

Cold water splash
Haslinger Schafmilch
Shavemac 177 Silvertip
ATT M2 Kronos
Personna Lab Blue (4)
Penhaligon's Opus 1870 ASB
Penhaligon's Opus 1870 EdT

Probably should have binned the Personna Lab at the beginning of the shave, but still managed a reasonable 4th shave out of it. New blade tomorrow though!
