Greetings gents,

3 days growth

Shower + Simple soap to the beard followed by hair conditioner left on the beard for 5 min.

Cream: Ingram
Brush: A new smelly hair shedding (equine?) Turkish No.6
Razors: Pearl SBF-12OC barber pole , Gillette Slim Twist NOS
Blades: Sputnik in the Pearl and Super-Max SS in the Gillette

AS: Aqua Velva
AB:Village Barber AS balm

Hammered the growth with the Pearl followed by second and third pass with the Gillette loaded with a second usage Astra SP, this blade was doing nothing (I am loosing patient with the Astra SP) so loaded a Super-Max SS and everything was flying to a nice smooth BBS.

I'll spare you the photos.

GEM OCMM
GEM PTFE (5)
TOBS Imitation Badger
Wickham Soap Company Super Smooth Garden Mint
Homemade AS

My first time with the OCMM - a very good shaver. It didn't feel as aggressive as I was expecting, but it did give me a couple of wee nicks. I actually felt that the Streamline gave me a more efficient shave, although that may be because the blade is getting too old.

The Garden Mint is a fantastic smell - my favourite one so far. I'd go so far as to describe it as a "signature" scent as I can really think of anything to compare it to. Simply lovely!

Hot shower
Hot flannel
Wet Shave Obsession Signature scuttle lathered
Finest Badger brush made by myself
Gillette Executive adjustable D3 (1958) set on 5
Sputnik (3)
Cold rinse
Thayers Lavender witch hazel
Myrsol Antesol aftershave

Today was the first use of the WSO soap. What sets this apart from other artisan soaps is it's triple milled so making it a hard puck similar to MWF, Tabac, DR Harris. The other soaps such as Mike's, Barrister & Mann are soft and pliable making them easy to squash into a container. The WSO is very hard in this respect. I soaked the puck with warm water while I had a shower. I loaded the brush and built up the lather with ease in the scuttle. The scent was a good strength and was very pleasant during the shave. The lather lasted easily through the shave and was slick and dense. I'm happy to have this soap in my growing rotation.
The shave rounded off nicely with the cooling of the Antesol.
