After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

more Barbershop Bay Rum used as EdT and gone in a few minutes

My 4th and probably last shave with this old blade.....just now starting to pull a tiny bit. Nice shaves.......the rest of the 10 pack is worth keeping.

The Diplomat is one that's made up of different pieces that you will see occasionally in the later models. The TTO must be from a President, since it's silver colored with the President kinda knurling and is quite a contrast from the rest of the gold plated razor. Great shaver that I've had in the arsenal for years.

Really handy having the juice Steve makes. One of the very top bay rum scents I have huffed and there's been a bunch. Nice having that on my face, even though the scent goes away fast. Just like aftershave should act.

2 days growth this morning. It's the first time I've not shaved daily in about a year!
Skin feels extra smooth as a result.

Picked up a sample of Clarins ASB, it works really well, not greasy and a kind of neutral scent.

I prefer the Aqua Velva Musk to the Sport. There's still the Classic to buy and try.

Very respectable shave. I'm enjoying cold water shaving even more as winter gets closer. Tap water feels too warm in summer!

It could be "Sunday afternoon shave" syndrome... the urge to make it just that bit smoother and carry on scraping when you should really give up. Luckily I managed to stop before I got any irritation, but I did get a few weepers on my lower neck. BUT: it is smooth... and a pretty good shave overall.

Has anyone else noticed... the cold splash is getting bloody cold now!

I've noticed the water's much colder from the tap Steve :icon_smile:

And yes to knowing when to stop scraping away at the neck guilty of that at times :blush:
