Excellent first shave of the new week - close and irritation-free.
 
Prep: Musgo glycerin soap
Soap/cream: Paarkolive uber lather (A stick of Arko & Palmolive each grated into a bowl)
Razor: Gillette Fatboy (1959)
Blade: Gillette black
Brush: Kent H8
Bowl: Steve Woodhead bespoke
Post shave: Thayers Witchhazel
After shave: Klamperts Finest Bay Rum (Acadian Spice) with my own added menthol crystals

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

vintage Simpsons best
Schick F type injector/Gillette Platinum Plus (NOS)
Figaro SS (thanks for the generous sample Al)
Lucky Tiger AS and Face Tonic
Givenchy 'Xeryus' EdT (black bottle)

Third and final time using this soap that was sent to me for a test drive a while back. Two previous shaves have been just ok and this last one was the same. Great looking lather this time, but performance is pretty average. Nothing special slip or cushion. Who knows, maybe it's me........probably is. Anyway, I was happy to have finally tried that stuff, although it's now extinct.

Heh, I caved in yesterday and ordered the single soap (Marrakesh) with special shipping deal. Sheesh, one thing I do not need is more soaps. The reviews are mostly real good though and the scent description hooked me right in.
