S.O.T.D. Sat. 8th February 2014 to Fri. 14th February 2014

Prep: face wash and scrub with Aleppo soap and Menscience face brush
Pre: Proraso sensitive
Razor: 37C Slant
Blade: Sputnik (3)
Brush: Semogue 620 (Love this brush, lathers anything so easily)
Soap: Valobra Almond
Post: Cold water splash, witch hazel and proraso sensitive.

2 passes and no problems at all. Zero irritation. :icon_razz:
Been having great shaves since using the Aleppo and Proraso pre, not sure which one it is or whether it's a combination of the two.

Gillette Thai Superthin (3)
Dickenson and Gilroy boar brush
Speick soap and a/s lotion
freshwood a/s balm

this blade has not covered itself in glory. A decent shave but not spectacular. The little brush is a good performer so i'll be using it more often.

muhle r41/ templ8 ball end handle
silver star
semogue 1800
razorock cumba cheech
weleda AS balm
zino davidoff edt

not bad, end result was pretty decent but felt a bit rough and had a few weepers. my face felt a bit sore before the shave from being outside all day, and i dont think i got enough protection from the razorock, but i could also put it down to getting a bit cavalier with the r41. either way a run round with some alum and weleda balm sorted everything out.

Nice, like the blade sticking out of the brush, just like a slice of lemon on a cocktail glass. Just don't forget its there!

WEDNESDAY EVENING

Prep: Hot rinse & Aleppo soap
Razor: Gillette Aristocrat Jr
Blade: Personna Lab Prep
Brush: Semogue 2011 LE boar 2
Soap: Mike's Lemongrass & Eucalyptus - scuttle lathered
Post - Witch hazel & GFT balm

Very nice soap. Like others, I didn't generate 'meringues of lather', but it was very slick, provided plenty of cushion and gives lovely post shave skin feel. It also smells great.

On the negative side, this blade went over right at the end and nicked me by my mouth on the final pass. Ya bastid!
