S.O.T.D. Sat. 28st Sept. to Frid. 4th October. 2013

Hot flannel
Proraso pre, menthol
Omega 11137, MWF
Feather AS-D2, Personna Lab Blue (3)
Cold splash
Clinique post-shave healer

The Omega is my favourite brush at the moment... cost about £5 but makes short work of any soap (including MWF). It's really breaking in now and just gets better and better... the handle is very grippable too, which is important for me.

Tuesday:

Afternoon, all.

Prep: Claus Porto's Lime-oil face soap
Razor: EJ DE89 with Bulldog handle
Blade: Gillette Superthin (4)
Brush: Ecotools Kabuki
Shave soap: La Toja stick
A/S: Homemade Sensational Indulgences Sandalwood splash
Cologne: Sensational Indulgences Sandalwood

Another unintended BBS and overall good shave.

shower
Clarisonic and Mitchell's Wool Fat Bath Soap
hot water splash
Jagger Boar Brush
Santa Maria Novella crema da barba shaving cream
cold water rinse
Healing Scents Lavender & Peppermint After Shave

Haven't posted here for a long time but new month and all..

Hot face splash followed by:

Razor: Weber Polished w/Bulldog handle
Blade: Crystal Super Platinum (2)
Soap: Palmolive Classic Soap Stick
Brush: TGN Finest 24mm Badger

Cold water on face to finish.

Face lathered as per normal with nice slick lather from the super Palmolive - bargain at 50p and just lacking a nicer scent. Two days' growth removed nicely with no trauma and no burn/cuts. Time will tell if it's the soap/delay in shaving but enjoyed today and was in a mind to go lightly bearded again :)

Looking forward to trying some Viking blades when they arrive.

EJ DE89L & Personna Lab Blue
Vulfix 404 'Bodger'
Ingrams Cream
Blue Stratos AS

Unusually for me, an evening shave but what a shave. Hadn't used a Lab Blue for ages and forgot how damn good they are. The Blue Stratos may be cheap but it smells great and is really good on the skin - no Astral required tonight as is the norm for me. Cannot praise the 'Bodger' highly enough.

Face wash with Pears oil-control soap
Merkur Digress HD B / Polsilver
Culmak Style Butterscotch 20mm Finest
L'Occitane Cade shaving soap
Proraso Green A/S

Very nice

Wednesday 2nd October

Brush: Semogue Owners Club Boar in Cherry
Soap: Trumpers Coconut
Razor: Schick L Type
Blade: Personna (7)
Post: Witch Hazel, Floid Vigoroso

Perfect. No problems with the Trumpers as noted by others, I did load for a long time though. The razor and blade are both excellent, the blade still going strong too, so I'll probably take it one more shave and change just for something different. The Floid is the best 5€ I spent while on holiday, it really is very very good.

Early this morning:

Wade & Butcher Special 6/8"
Omega 98
La toja stick (in a bowl)
Face Lather
Neil Miller-2.5" Latigo Leather
Floid Suave+ 444
WTG, XTG & ATG (neck)

Have a nice day!

Wednesday ii October, 2013

Prep: Shower, Lucky Tiger Face Wash
Pre: Cold water splash
Brush: Edwin Jagger Best Badger Travel Brush
Cream: Shulton Old Spice
Razor: Digress LD
Blade: Personna Lab Prep #2
Post: Weleda Smooth Shave Toner, Bulldog ASB
Cologne: Penhaligon's Endymion

Result: Once again a just terrific shave. Impressed with the Weleda - a very nice product. I rate the Weleda range very highly. Lab prep is a excellent too and I'm loving my Digress more and more each day.

Here's hoping the rest of the day will match the start...
