Lovely shave from the Mike's soap. The blade was past its best by the end of the shave. A new blade set up in a different razor for tomorrows shave. The Finest knots from TGN are very good quality for the cost. Almost no hairs have been shed from the batch I bought this week amazing really.

very nice. im still not convinced with this razorock soap, it smells lovely but always feels a little lacking in cushion.

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

WSP Monarch 2 band
'Webly'/Personna74 (NOS)
RL Safari SS
Neutrogena oil free moisture
RL Safari EdT (old juice)

Got this brush yesterday, gave it a few soaks in warm water and did one practice lather afterwards. Used the Safari soap and whipped the lather up in a bowl for a change. I didn't want to maybe irritate my face.

Sheesh, the lather came together fast....maybe about a minute or a few seconds more. Heh, kind of a shame to waste it.

This morning's shave using this brush and face lathering was pretty darn nice. We'll see what happens after more uses but so far it's a hit. Well, the knot is anyway. Real luxurious but very efficient. The handle may be a little small for me. I'll have to see how that goes. Probably my 8th or 9th shave with this blade and still fine.

BBS results,

Martin
