Result: First use ever for this mint 70ish year old Valet. What a privilege. Hope that I look as good and work as well when I am 70. All other elements lovely too, so a cracking start to the weekend.

Have a good weekend, my fine fellows.

Prep: Hot shower
Pre: Murdock pre-shave oil
Soap: NSS Cedarwood & Vetyver
Brush: MÜHLE Kosmo silvertip synthetic
Razor: Weber + Bulldog
Blade: Gillette Super Thin (3)
After: 4711 AS, Cade ASB

The plus points of this NSS hard soap is the scent is amazing that can be sniffed way after the shave and its skin conditioning qualities are fab. The downside is that it can be temperamental to lather. Today's face-lathering was ok but a little thin; didn't really expand properly. Never know whether I should face-lather or bowl-lather with this one; bowl lathering works if I load the brush heavily.

Blade was rough on its third outing which is surprising for a Gillette Super Thin; I should stick with my Sputniks/Rapiras.
Overall did manage a BBS with thankfully no irritation, which was unexpected.

Have a great weekend, chaps.

Turkish no. 6 boar
Wilkinson Sword "made in EU" vintage blade
Fume shaving soap
7 o'clock long comb New
Myrsol Plastic Shave

Althought the blister pack said made in EU the first blade has "made in England" stamped on it. Result!

Fantastic BBS shave.

MRGLO
#66 Aristocrat
Scottish Permasharp (8)
Erasmic Boar
Williams Soap + Nivea Cream
Old Spice A/S

Shave 8 and possible a slight loss in smoothness. Other wise a perfectly acceptable shave.

Despite using a Progress and a Polsilver the shave was a bit rough. I might be a dodgy blade but I suspect it's my skin as I have a few spots elsewhere and I feel pretty run-down.

The brush is a Simpsons E3 Manchurian and the bowl a Steve Woodhead suribachi.

Boots Botanics face scrub
Boots shave stick
Omega 'syntex' synthetic bristle shaving brush
Personna chrome razor blade 'red' label
Edwin Jagger Chatsworth barley chrome razor
King of Shaves 'ultimate' balm.

It's been quite a while since I've used Personna razor blade, and it was a very smooth shave.
