Hot Towel
Olive Oil Blend PSO
NSS Moroccan Sands [Face Lathered]
Pure Badger Brush
Gillette Super Speed (Black Handle) 1967 M4
Gillette Super Platinum [3]
Hot Rinse
Cold Rinse
Alum Wash
Cold Rinse
Brut Musk Aftershave

Three Pass - WTG, XTG & ATG

I finally "got" face lathering a couple of days ago, so gave it another go ... it worked ... again, and so I think I'll keep going with that technique through my various soaps and creams.

Talking of creams, this was the first run with NSS Moroccan Sands, a cream scented with Oudh. Heavily woody and a scent which does not dissipate much through the shave, it provided a wonderful backdrop for Brut Musk, enhancing, even prolonging the scent of the aftershave.

I have to say, I don't think the blade is anything special but from a couple of pretty mediocre shaves with it so far, it does seem to like it's sibling razors. Gillettes in a Gillette, who'da thunk it? Close in parts, others no so close. Still, good shave with no issues.

Gillette Aristocrat #15
Gillette Bleue Extra (3)
Shavemac 173 Silvertip
Vitos Extra Super Coconut
Proraso Aftershave lotion
Diptyque Tam Dao edt

A close, comfortable shave. I'm enjoying Shavemac silvertip set at 24/50 - it seems to be a sweet spot.

Greetings

Prep: Hot shower,
Pre: Vito's Crema Pre-Dopobarba
Brush: Neep Custom '67 Threepenny Bit Extra Silvertip
Soap: MWF
Razor: Digress HD
Blade: Gillette Rubie #1
Post: Alum, Weleda Smooth Shave Toner, Weleda ASB
Fragrance: Penhaligon's Endymion EdT

Result: Very nice thank you. Not sure the Fat appreciates Vito's, but I had one finger tip left in the jar, so I had to use it up. Impressed with the Weleda one-two and all felt really quite splendid.

All the best, chaps,

Jon

Hot flannel
Proraso pre, menthol
Muhle Silvertip, Cella
Digress HD (#3; #2.5), Personna Red (1)
Cold splash
Proraso AS cream (and lots of it)

Found my very last Personna Red nestling in my stash. I remember it fondly... but even after palm-stropping it just wasn't up to the performance of my current favourite blades.
I'll stick to Lab Blues for my Personna fix from now... and the hapless Red has been ditched

Palmolive stick
Vulfix Bodger
English Fat Handle Tech, Wizamet Polsilver Stainless
Williams Aqua Velva

Always pleasing when the Palmolive gets to the front of the rotation. Can't fault it.
