Really good 3 pass shave. Easy DFS with no irritation. This razor/Plate works well with a very sharp blade.....

Not used Cella for a while, don't know why it is a really nice soap indeed......

Ready for night shift....

I have over 60 ways of shaving my face, but one razor which I actually long for is the 1912 ...

Thursday xvi January, 2014

Prep: Hot shower, L'Oreal Daily Purifying Face Wash
Pre: Tepid water splash
Brush: Semogue 1305
Soap: MWF (face lathered)
Razor: Ever Ready 1914
Blade: Gem Blue Star Carbon Steel #2
Post: Mentholated WH, Weleda ASB

Result: Pretty decent two pass shave... not sure I'll persevere with the Blue Star blade, I need to team this razor up with a GEM PTFE for comparison. With a couple of weeks pretty constant usage the Semogue has broken in very nicely and is working very very with the MWF.

All the best,

Jon

Prep: Hot shower, Clinique face wash
Brush: NF Tubby 2
Soap: Prorasso Green - face lathered
Razor: Digress HDB (2)
Blade: Rapira Swedish Super Stainless
Post: Proraso Greeen AS
Cologne: Chanel Allure Sport

Digress has been feeling a bit unloved recently, 2 pass WTG/ATG lovely fuss free and comfortable shave.

Prep: Hot shower
Pre: Murdock Avalon pre-shave oil
Soap: Murdock Avalon cream
Bowl: Woodhead Pedestal
Brush: MÜHLE Kosmo silvertip synthetic
Razor: ATT R2 Kronos
Blade: Rapira (3)
After: 4711 AS, Murdock Avalon ASB

I could feel this blade becoming a bit rough at its third shave so new blade for tomorrow but shave was still as smooth as the baby's proverbial.
Excellent cream and ASB combination. I've decided it doesn't tighten my skin as I previously thought, must've been doing something different before.

Lovely BBS with no irritation. Good day, folks.
