Wednesday evening

Edwin Jagger DE86 head
Ikon handle
Omega Pro 48
HTGAM Synergy Lime soap
Aqua Velva

First time using the HTGAM soap and the tin in comes in is bloody HUGE so decided touse my big Kent but after two attempts to lather I gave up, the laterh was disappearing as quickly as it hit my face and the brush seemed to not create it very well.

Very disappointed but then ditched the Kent for a big boar and bingo, we not just had lather but we had exceptional lather. Excellent glide and comfort and an excellent shave was the result.

Try the soap out tonight with a different badger and see how it goes.

Sorry to sound like an idiot, but HTGAM? I assume it's an acronym but it's not in my memory bank anywhere.

'How To Grow A Moustache' soaps in the tin with the moustache across the lid.

My first time with the slant and I am amazed at how efficient this razor is. I hadn't shaved for 3 days as I was waiting for this razor to arrive. 2 passes and just as good as a 3 pass with my Progress. Zero irritation and no nicks. Well pleased :icon_cheesygrin:
Told you so :)
I wonder how John0612 is getting on with your Black Beauty.

Aye, you certainly did and you was spot on. Hopefully John will post when he tries the Black Beauty out. So glad I got the slant though. I may still get an R41 one day just to try one out. Will probably put my 34G HD up for trade/sale soon as I can't see it getting much use now.

First shave with this brush. I love it! Bic blade was really sharp with mediocre smoothness. Had about 4 weepers.

Kiss My Face Shave Cool Mint
Semogue 1305
Gillette Slim
Rapira blade
John Allan's Cool Face Balm
L O 'Occitan EDT

I decided to give the Kiss My Face Shave a go, I purchased it a while ago in error instead of the balm they do. It's a loose cream in a pump dispenser. I pumped a couple of squirts in the Woodhead Bowl and it lathered up very well, surprisingly well. Great minty shave, so having used mint to shave I finished with the John Allan Mint balm.
