I emailed them last night- used their contact form- had no reply. I'll e-mail them direct if I have no response tomorrow morning. I've heard that they will send them shave ready if you ask.

Thanks Tony, I emailed them direct, will let you know how it goes. *Update*.. I received an email asking for my postal address so they can send me an invoice, so direct email seems to work.

In the description it states C-Steel which I took to be carbon, could be wrong though.

Carbon steel. Gairdner I'm with you on your choice- don't like them over-decorated.

I know beauty is in the eye etc. but that is just too fussy for me - take a look at a similar shaped razor with no embellishment.

Now, a few months ago I would said 'Huh- they're just old razors- don't get it'

Now I do, and my bank balance knows it!

If you are going to buy from them I would personally look at their own range Revisor because some of their better known rarities range razors have gone up in price quite a bit looking at some of their Dubl Ducks they are almost $500 Euro that's stupid money in my opinion.
