Was playing this on Sunday while I was pottering about, utterly brilliant album, not an ounce of fat on it. In my opinion British punk rock started and finished with this album. Every other 'punk' band rode in on the coat tails of the pistols, maybe with the exception of the damned, x ray spex and crass.

And I agree whole heartily with your words. This is where punk was born and died.

Quite simply my favourite album of all time. So much so I have some 5 or so different versions of it.

But since I am off to see them in two weeks.....
