Another dead blues guy, RIP Lazy! One day I'll tell you the one about my chat with Lazy Lester during the interval of a gig here in North Wales. Salacious at best, completely slanderous at worst

He was superb live. Mad as a box of frogs - and basically being paid to perform with bottles of Newcastle Brown Ale and cd sales - but pure class.Another dead blues guy, RIP Lazy!
I have never heard this before; have now listened to it five times. Written I believe by Jacques Brel, titled Au Suivant and to think the US Army used to think they were giving the lads a treat; although quite dark, very powerful and in many cases I suspect quite truthful. What a performance by Alex Harvey. And another one from the SAHB. Including some of my favourite lyrics of all time
Naked a sin
An army towel, covering my belly
Some of us weep, some of us howl
Knees turn to jelly, but Next! Next!
I was just a child
A hundred like me
I followed a naked body
A naked body followed me, Next! Next!
I was just a child when my innocence was lost
In a mobile army whorehouse
A gift of the army, free of cost. Next! Next! Next!

I've just spent the weekend with Nick Boxall who makes the famous Bowie masks from a cast of Bowie's face. He originally did them for the V&A museum but he's still doing them to order as they became very popular after David passed away. I don't own one of the life size masks but he did give me and my Mrs a fridge magnet which was a properly scaled down version of the real thing.Sorry about this, am on a bowie youtube session at the moment.
