In any case I'm not continuing this here, as I do not want to expose the founders of TSR or anyone of us (to the eyes of an outsider it may appear as a coordinated effort from TSR if we keep discussing and making comments about such a possible post). What we have here is a different culture, and this is what is special about TSR.
We've made a number of comments on the whole thing, and few have tried to show that it is best not to attract unnecessary attention or cause friction for no real reason. So let's keep that in mind.

Forgot to say I don't have the New Forest 2201, so can't make the deadly combo (yet!) in one SOTD.
Connaught and Fido in one picture will drive the mods there mad enough... :cool:

As I cannot log into B&B anymore and also cannot access that link Damian posted, I pretty much understand.

Now they'll get the SOTD they deserve, when the right moment comes. I always strike w/o any prior warning.

How about asking all the gun-nuts and veterans if there's been a single successful overseas military intervention by the US since WWII.

from the old and overt (Korea, Vietnam) to the recent and covert (Contras) they've all been useless at best and counter-productive at worst.

But who's the bigger fool: the fool (Bush) or the fool who follows the fool (Blair)?
 
As events appear to have overtaken the question originally posed, it seems that the key to the ultimate ban is quite simply to have joined, especially if you've ever posted in TSR. Do they not know what life has always taught me, I learn far more from people who disagree with my views than from those who echo them. Or, to paraphrase from a wiser source than I, "Give instruction to a wise person and they will be yet wiser; Whilst the fool in their heart despises reproof".

Now it's getting really ridiculous. I just pasted a link to a page on B & ?B from my website stats, to check where some visitors were coming from. I must have been still logged in from last time I checked in (they hardly ever seem to log you out) - and this is what the page said

You have been banned for the following reason:
No reason was specified.

Date the ban will be lifted: Never

Do you think Jim has just read my latest Limerick? In which case 10/10 for speed if nothing else! Or could it have been my offensive entry providing the definition of his username thingy. I haven't posted on B & B for yonks, so it's certainly nothing I've done on there. Maybe it's just because I sell soap? :? This really is so petty.
