Joseph Tuners & Sons, cutlers to their majesties. 130+yo blade today. Not the BEST shave, but it's likely I've been out of practice with smaller blades after my huge glut of custom's all 8/8+!. Felt great tho. Had touched it up on the Thungarian hone, which seems to favor old steel. I know it's 'me' as I've had fantastic shave with this before.

Today's shave with this excellent razor was just awesome! The edge was keenly crisp, smooth, and comfortable after stroping on the 0.1 balsa & Kanayama (still not confident to refresh on stones). 3passes for an improved dfs-ccs finish...

Razor Thiers Issard 69 Frameback
I've always wanted a frameback and got this vintage via Ebay. Honed it myself using cheap stones and finished on the Naniwa 12k then the Kanayama strop. Wow...was surprised by the nice smooth & comfortable edge. Was expecting the worse. A satisfactory 3 passes for a mixed dfs-ccs-sas finish without any issues. Very happy indeed!
