SOTD W/C saturday june 2 to friday 8

Friday evening:

After using the Weber DLC exclusively for a few shaves, I fancied using the trusty EJ de89 barley again. Still loaded with a no name (probably a personna, bought at Tesco) blade on the third outing.
Using what is probably the penultimate helping of Nanny's lime soft soap, bowl-lathered with NF 2207 brush, nice easy three pass shave. Decent result too, removing about a week's growth with ease.
Much as I enjoy the Weber, I don't think I'll be retiring the EJ just yet.

Finished off with some Proraso ASL and Proraso pre-post.
 
Today, a full Lavender shave!

Warm shower + Welleda shaving cream + Semogue 1335 + Merkur Futur at 3 with Gillette Stainless + Ach Brito Lavanda cologne with Proraso balm

Yep, the best Pre I have tested is simply getting a warm bath before shaving! I could shave with the Futur at 3 without any problem or irritation, a wonderful shave! I must try hot towels system, probably I'll get similar results, hehe
