TOBS Jermyn Street Sensitive fragrance

Kicking off this week's shaving thread with my wedding day shave.
Thanks to all those who posted good luck in last week's thread

Hope the shave was a good one... Am sure the day will be :)

Am currently visiting relatives so have my travel kit:

Palmolive stick
Rose & co badger brush
De89 with derby blade (5th use I think)
Boots no. 7 balm

Pretty good today - took more care over the lathering and the result is very smooth. However, I tried shaving in a steamed up bathroom a couple of days ago and it didn't work out so well. Currently look to have a nasty case of road rash under my chin.

I have to confess that, much as I enjoy this mode of shaving, a sensor disposable and Clinique gel is much less dangerous!

Soap: Sante Provence
Brush : Rooney Style One Best
Razor : Feather Popular
Blade : ZAZA
Balm : Jack Black Gel
EDT : Acqua Di Parma Intensa

First try of Sante Soap, love it, love the scent and the lather it produces. ZAZA worked well in the Popular.

Best wishes to our new bridegroom.

Mine was a value shave today. Tech razor, handle courtesy of sunburyboy - thanks Steve.

Tabac and Wilkinson balm and a prototype Best Badger brush.

Saturday shave:

331zrsn.jpg

Pre Alep Soap + Michells Wool Fat "facelathered" + Vie&Long 16910 "two bands edition" + Merkur Slant with Laser Ultra + Dino Gaetan with TOBS Mr Taylor gel sample

Excellent shave! I love this small Vie&Long, really confortable to use. In the other hand, I did'nt like much that TOBS gel, too greasy and difficult to spread.

Cheers!

Saturday:

Rooney large "style 1" in best
Truefitt and Hill lavender cream
Merkur 34C HD
Gillette 7 o'clock yellow (1)
L'Occitane Verdon face splash

The absolute last of my lavender cream... still have 2 pots of other T+H creams so I'll not replace that one just yet.
The Verdon A/S splash is one of the great splashes and a pretty well kept secret (not seen it mentioned elsewhere yet)... it's so gentle, so fresh, so light.
3 passes, including a rare ATG. Result: nice and smooth.
