Broke my usual routine (of the last 8 weeks or so) and took out the AoS Sandalwood. Fresh and with long-lasting aroma, it did not however manage to give me an equally nice shave as the Palmolive stick I've been using so far. A shave that was to a great extent let down today by my bowl lathering technique and possibly by this nice looking brush which nonetheless is now ready to be shipped to our resident brush restorer for a re-knot.

I thought I'd try a xtg pass again today. I didn't stretch my skin enough on the corner of my mouth. This lead to a little kiss from the Kropp. A fair bit of blood. Thank god for alum and cold water.

On the up side, ive made real progress with my chin area. Almost clean with one pass of the kropp.

Finished off with the ikon. Overall a nice shave :) :) :)

Who could say their morning isn't improved by shaving with such lovely things as opposed to a can of goo and a plastic widget?

Lovely shave. Nuked face flannel to start, egg white lather from the Cella and the fabbo Semogue, and this blade is a real good un. I think I shall have to track down some more.

Now off for some lunch at the Devon Deli. A good start to the weekend.

In a change to the usual routine of aggressive razors I decided to use my 1954 Superspeed. It really is a great little razor and I was chuffed when I won it on eBay. It's in great condition and delivered a fantastic shave. I love the idea of this little thing still doing it's job so well after all these years.

I've got a real hankering for another vintage Gillette...now if only I could get my hands on a Fatboy or a slim adjustable I'd be a happy chappy.

Feather delivered another fine shave, two pass shave with a very delicate touch up, can't speak highly enough regarding the Vito's soft soap really delivers a super slick lather.

Well did it again! Another '04 Gillette. This time another 'J' model but a ball end. Not sure the handle's the right one- no date. But... Couldn't pass it up for the price.
Razor: Gillette '04 'j' ball end
Blade: 7oclock green label
Soap: Godrej- again that sliver just stays and stays.
Brush: Boar
Aftershave: Masters Bay Rum
Love those '04's especially the 'J's 2 passes and a great shave. Did a few more just because it was new to me and it was Saturday....
