The artisans in the shaving community are putting out some incredible gear just now! The brush from Alpha Shaving is a solid performer and while it is a soft synthetic knot, it does have good backbone to it. Cult Grooming's Signature soap is from a Greek artisan and is one of the best performing soaps I have tried recently. It can soak in lots of water and once hydrated, the slickness is great. Whilst cushion isn't often metioned much in reviews, the cushion on this soap was really noticeable to me during the shave. Beautiful, strong scent too that gets better once lathered. These guys deserve a wider audience and I hope a UK vendor has a look at them.

There's something about this Mink knot in the green handle that makes me want one, just for the sake of it . . . .besides, I haven't got a green brush!

My first shave with a recent BST razor purchase, with thanks and gratitude to Alan, @ekeko - Royal Mail couldn't defeat us!
This Feather SR seems to me to be the next step from it's stable mate, the ACS-NB.
The edges of the blade holder have less of a rounded tip, so I had this in mind from the off - along with ensuring the lather was adequately hydrated.
I was a little trepidacious to begin with, but the correct angle of attack wasn't hard to determine.
Using a guarded blade with eight shaves behind it was a good choice.
Two passes, (WTG & ATG) and I managed to avoid mishap - phew!

Additional Care: Witch Hazel, Glycerin, Aloe Vera Gel, Peppermint, Lavender and Tea Tree Essential Oils
Fragrance: Molton Brown Tobacco Absolute EDT

I woke up this afternoon (I work nights) and felt my face for stubble, much to my surprise there was hardly any there after yesterday’s shave with the Leaf and Thorn. With that in mind I thought I‘d use the same again. WTG and 2 passes XTG in difference directions, last pass was with the Thorn. The result was a superb shave, as close to BBS as I‘ll get and more importantly comfortable. These could be my go-to razors on work days as it gives me a great result in super quick time.

I received this wonderful cream from @Pontormo
and this is its first outing.
Like many if not all the Tobs creams it’s fantastic.
A rich creamy lather and a wonderful scent.
Being a non smoker i never thought i would like the smell of tobacco but man it’s class.
Cigarettes & Tobacco Obviously two different things but rewind 3 years ago i thought they were the same.
The Razor needs no introduction and gives me a better shave than any other razor i own.
it’s just phenomenal.
Having said that i’m fairly sure the One Blade gives me a cracking shave but it’s dull & boring & lifeless but the Oren man it’s a dream for me.
Ok you all get the picture i like it lol.
Everything was fairly picked at random but a straight 10/10 shave.
