Brush: Chubby 2 SiLVERTiP
Soap: B&M Electric Mayhem
Razor: WR2 1.25
Blade: Nacet (2)
Post: B&M Electric Mayhem AS & EDT

Excellent shave this morning, this is definitely a summery scent for me so once our week of summer is over I can see it being retired until next year. Nacet worked out well, smooth and close, irritation free finish.

Shame it's a workday but fingers crossed the weather stays clear and we'll get out in the evening!

Hope everyone has a grand day!

Cheers

Marc

Razor: Gillette 1959 USA B3 Red Tip
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue, 1st use
Brush: Yaqi Lucky Dice Tuxedo
Bowl: Simpsons Travel Bowl
Preshave: Proraso Refreshing Pre Shave Cream
Soap: Proraso Green Croap
Aftershave: Proraso After Shave Green Aftershave
Balm: Proraso Green Balm

After my post in the July Acquisitions thread and the blue tip shave yesterday, it's the run out of the second of the 1959 contenders. A 1959 (hence the 1959 shave music) red tip.

A two pass shave that was a bit more aggressive than my face likes. This one is destined for the display shelf as it's a bit too aggressive to move to the rotation shelf.

Monday

Good session at the gym followed by relaxing shower and shave.

I think the bakelite Tech has seen it's last run out for a while. Not a bad shave by any means, but nowhere near as smooth as it's flat bottom brother. I think it's just the bakelite having more friction and a lot less weight to it.

Barber Blue had some flowery notes in it, so perfect for a hot day (relatively speaking).

Hope it's a good start to the week for everyone.

A very refreshing cold water shave this morning. The little Yaqi and the PAA soap produced plentiful, protective lather. The Ikon Deluxe produced a comfortable, and sufficiently close result. I haven’t used this razor in a while, so I probably need a bit of practice, I do remember it being that bit closer than my Feather if used properly. It remains my only open comb razor.

Another very nice shave today, i do enjoy using the Blackland razors.
I have changed my routine by having my shave as soon as i get up before i head off for my Swim / Gym session. It seems to be working well for me as does the Proraso and Boar stint i am on.
Stay safe and enjoy your day All.

View attachment 90283Well An Absolute tremendous shave today.
A birthday shave at that.
Yesterday i was using Old Spice today but my colleagues at work bought me a little present all the Eucris & a Muhle Rocca & when it came through the post this morning i just had to use it.
Man what a scent. Absolutely top drawer and considering it’s original age it must have been away ahead of the game.
A lovely Refined masculine scent which iv never quite experienced before.
I wanted to use the Rocca but come on it just had to be the slim didn’t it, i mean I think money penny would approve.
Between this & Spanish leather it’s definitely up there with the best for sure.
Why we all strive for something different is beyond me as we have it all on our doorstep Well UK doorstep certainly.
The Brush for me is the softest knot iv ever experienced for a badger.
Bobby Moffat the Father of Robb
( Chisel & Hound ) does some tremendous handles & this Knot is first class,
Mind you i only picked it because it was black :ROFLMAO:
Pretty shallow i know but there you go.
I’m now at the Football & writing this before kick off
Onwards & Upwards

Belated Happy Birthday Mike!
Hope you had a great day
