Saturday, 7 May

PreShave: Warm to hot water—from the tap
Cream: GFT Eucris
Brush: Kent BK8
Bowl: My recycled T&H cream bowl
Razor: Merkur 39C
Blade Astra sp (1)
Post Shave: Alum

Fragrance: Eucris

Back to an Astra in my standard Saturday setup. Last week’s choice of a Gillette Platinum wasn’t the best, doubt I’ll be using one again—at least for a while. Have a good remainder of the weekend, folks.

Razor: Razorock Hawk V3A
Blade: Feather Pro, 1st use
Brush: Shedeleven Spalted Scottish Hawthorn AP Shave Co G5C 26mm Fan
Bowl: 3D Printed Bowl
Preshave: PAA Cube Unscented Soap
Soap: Seaforth! Sea Spiced Lime Puck
Aftershave: Seaforth! Sea Spiced Lime EDT
Balm: Seaforth! Spice Lime Aftershave Toner Lotion

A fresh blade in the Hawk and wow what a difference it makes, 12 was probably a tad too far with the last blade but it was still shaving well but this is just brilliant. The Seaforth is always a pleasure and it made for a great start to the weekend.
Enjoy the weekend guys.

Merkur 41c
Polsilver Łódź (3)
Sir Irisch Moos
Thayer’s Cucumber witch hazel
Proraso Green a/s

The Merkur 41c always delivers absolutely sublime shaves. This was no exception, four days growth removed effortlessly, aided and abetted by the excellent SIM. The Duke 2 is absolutely made for use with shave sticks.
Superb.
Enjoy the weekend chaps.

Soap – Mammoth Almond Leather
Brush – Muhle Rocca Birch Synthetic
Razor – Muhle Rocca Birch
Blade – GSB (2)
A/S – Floid MV
Balm – Lea 3in1
EDT – Guerlain L’Homme Ideal

I’ve heard good things about Mammoth soaps and this was a great introduction thanks to BST and @Wintermute
I could pick up the main scent elements with almond at the forefront. Rather than thick and volumous I had a rich, creamy lather that did the job superbly well.
Two thumbs up for this one and Guerlain Ideal is the perfect match for it.
A shave out of the top drawer !

Have a great weekend and enjoy your shaves.

Brush: C&H 'Braizier' AP Gealousy
Soap: SW Fougère Nemeta
Razor: CB Karve Brass (E)
Blade: GSB (1)
Post: SW Fougère Nemeta

Late shave today, busy one getting the little one up for dance class then no time before dashing out to town and a pub lunch. Now with the grass mown it was time to scythe down the daily growth.

Cracking afternoon cold shave with the Nemeta and Karve, quick two pass for a smooth finish. Now it's time to get my arse into gear and cook dinner, ah well at least there's wine to pass the time whilst cooking.

Hope everyone has had a grand day so far!

Cheers

Marc

OSP sandlewood has to be up there in my top 3.
I absolutely adore it & i just live in hope that James will be back with us soon ish.
A wonderful 3 pass shave and the best of the month so far.
i reckon i could easily get another 3 shaves with this blade but got to many to try so i’ll stick with the 3.
The brush iv had for a couple of years and it was an ebay find.
i always wanted a Darn Robb but off course when he changed his name he changed the coin.
I now have 4 of his brushes although 3 incoming.
I also have a brush from his dad which is also a fantastic brush & one of my favourites.
Movie time for me off work tomorrow Hallelujah
Stay Safe Lads &
Enjoy Your Weekend

I enjoyed a sweet floral shave on this rainy morning. My wife has a terrible cold, so I'll probably be sick and unable to smell my shaving software soon. The brush is quite a lather hog, but it still is one of my favorites. And the classical music station is having one of their fund drives. The Brahms and Wagner I heard during my shave - not Tchaikovsky, but still excellent - made me glad that I am a supporting subscriber of the station. The music is a very important part of my shave each day.
