Blade: Willy's Premium. ( D1)
Razor: Parker 98r.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezings, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./P&G Old Spice Bearglove ASL Spray./Wilko Men's Moisturiser.

Greetings,

Early morning shave.

First shave into 'November Focus on one razor Month' using the Parker 98r... The heavy weight and long handle of the 98r has taught me to let the razor do most of the work and focus on my technique which results in close acceptable shaves....The willy's premium blade felt rough a little on the first pass today but after that it mellowed out....This is probably down to 'yours truly' getting familiar with this hefty efficient razor again rather than pointing the roughness of the blade.

The HWF Lanolin Shaving Soap. (no.3) with Lavender & May Chang like the other new formula's i added to my humble shaving soap collection earlier this year was a delight to shave with.. The zesty citrus scent from the May Chang is a wonderful addition to the Lanolin Soap recipe.

A Enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a small dollop of Wilko Men's Moisturiser to brace my mature rhino skin type to the autumn elements.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

Brush: C&H 'Strata Taper'
Soap: MdC Fougere
Razor: Blackland Sabre L2
Blade: GEM PTFE (2)
Post: Cold Water and Men-U Balm

On to the fougere, no talk about the performance it was obviously the same as the vetyver, so it was good.

This scent is nice, I could possibly see myself using frequently. I think a few more goes of it after I've done the rounds will be the decider, don't want to be stuck with a soap that'll last me a couple of years if I'm going to get bored of it (I have the attention span of a gnat!).

Hope everyone has a grand day!

Cheers

Marc

Razor: Hone 15a
Brush: ZENITH Unbleached bristle chrome handle 2000 C XSE
Bowl: 3D Printed Bowl
Preshave: PAA Cube Unscented Soap
Soap: Mitchell’s Wool Fat Puck
Aftershave: TOBS No. 7 Lime Aftershave
Balm: Bart’s Balm Sample Balm
Additional Care: Osma Laboratoires Alum Block

A lovely clean smelling soap with a clean smooth shave! My second or third use of MWF and it’s lovely, simple and fresh. I’m not sure what the lathering issue is as my little boar brush just motored through no problem, creating loads of lather! I’m not even blessed with soft water and it just brushes on nice and thick each time!
Have a great day guys!

Razor: Yates 921 H Plate/Nodachi Handle
Blade: Statum
Brush: Vintage Bone and Red Cedar/Boti Badger
Soap: Talbot Cades Cove

AS 2: MAOI Cades Cove
Fragrance: Amouage Journey

So I believe it was Pete (Patriot) that sent me some different tucks of blades. I tend to use the same ones without trying new ones but I'm trying to make a conscious effort to try some that have been laying around. These are made in the UK and are Platinum Chrome Sputtered.....................go ahead and google it, I had to. It involves ions.......My determination is that Ions are a good thing when using Platinum Chrome. Nice smooth and sharp blade. Time will tell on longevity of blade life. Thanks Pete and hope you're well. Think he got a girlfriend and hasn't come up for air yet....

The Amouge was a sample sent to me by my buddy Gus (Glazedboker) and is a nice one for sure. Forgot I had this and 2 other samples he sent. Thanks Gus ! Here's the scent description:
The Amouage Journey Eau De Parfum Spray is an alluringly smooth fragrance for the man who is sparkling with tradition and modernity. The woody and very masculine fragrance was introduced by the design house Amouage in the year 2014. The fragrance starts its journey with spicy notes from Cardamom and Sichuan Pepper. At the heart lie the sweet notes of Juniper Berries and Incense combined with hot notes from Tobacco. The base is resplendent with deep fragrances from Tonka Beans, Leather and Musk for a fragrance that is distinct and magnetic.

So reason for the soap/splash choice was we're heading to poke around Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountains today and spend the night in Townsend, TN before coming home tomorrow morning as we have friends coming for a T-Bone Steak dinner on the porch. 2 years ago her father passed away and we wanted to be with them to celebrate what a great guy he was. If not raining after dinner we'll have S'mores and talk by a bonfire. Have a great day folks !!

I found this Razor to be better balanced than the OC version I used yesterday with a non stock handle. I enjoyed the Shave a lot, and was really pleased at the overall quality of finish. I must really think about thinning out my AC/SE flock as though I enjoy using them, I have far too many.
