The same shave as yesterday, except for the change of brush. A far better second pass lather. I felt better, but, there was no real improvement in the quality of the shave. Interesting. The blade felt a bit tired today so time for a change.

Although i love the scent of the Proraso Wood and Spice, like its stablemates it really is a "dirty" soap leaving a residue on everything it touches.
The Brassbird/Med Prep pairing always works really well for me.

Not great, actually ... puzzled. Few weepers and kinda rough rather than seethingly sharp in feel.

I may have inadvertently popped an old cartridge onto the head, but it certainly felt like a new cartridge when pressing it onto the razor. I've popped another one on and will assess again tomorrow.

I missed my shave yesterday.
the shaves have been all first class recently but my skin just can’t take it everyday although that was my intention.
It’s the first time in a while iv used the Rockwell with plate 5 and i think iv found the sweet spot.
For the past year or so iv went with plate 4 and sometimes 3 due to traveling & forgetting to take 4 with me.
Anyway R5 was superb with the 3rd use wilko.
Shave of the month for me.
I know a lot of people have reservations for the 6s but for me it’s a true work horse & a razor i’m happy taking anywhere,
I know i can bang it around & it will still be in working order.
Anyway i’m starting to gab a bit.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Wrights Coal Tar Bar Soap.
Brush: Frank Shaving 22mm Synthetic.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Lather: Gillette Original Scent Shave Foam. (Red)
Razor: FaTip Grande. (Face) - Gillette London Bridge. (D2)
Razor: Gillette Guard. (Head) (D2)

Post:
Cold water Face & Head wash with brush squeezing's,/ Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./ Alum Rub./Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel/ Brut Splash ASL. /Baylis & Harding Amber & Sandalwood ASB.

Early morning Shave,

First head shave using the Gillette foam, i made the lather slightly more wet for my head shave for extra slickness & glide however, the lather still had plenty of protection with a good post shave feel.

Another enjoyable close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Baylis & Harding Amber & Sandalwood ASB.

My face is feeling cool smooth, & smelling divine.
