The Fine soap takes a lot of water, but produces a very slick and glossy lather.
Excellent stuff.

Soap - Arko Hydrate
Brush - Shed Eleven
Razor - Thin Handle Tech
Blade - Gillette Astra Stainless (1)
AS - Benjamin's Bay Rum
I over hydrated the lather and it was a poor lather. Not a great shave! The blade felt scratchy and harsh, and even though I'd not used an Astra Stainless for a while it's not how it usually performs. A few bits of claret after the first pass to illuminate the lather on the second pass.
Ah well! These shaves happen now and again.

My Shave today consisted of...
Brush Highlander LE2023 Badger.
Soap Signature soaps Eboracum.
Razor Occam's O.R.E.N
Blade Feather Pro Super.
Aftershave Jimmy Choo Man.
I wanted to see if the O.R.E.N would make a daily shaver, so I loaded up the lovely Eboracum and set to work.
A cracking shave had and I feel it's only going to get better as I begin to click with the razor.
Have a great evening everyone, I know the wife will once I get hold of her but don't tell he or she will pop to the shops until I fall asleep.

Trying a few new things shave
Prep - shower, Imperial Leather face wash
Bowl - glass
Cream - Nivea Sensitive Pro Ultra-Calming Liquid Shaving Cream
Brush - Yaqi Sagrada Familia 22mm synthetic
Razor - Merkur 34c
Blade - Shark SS (4)
Post - lather remains face wash, cold rinse, alum block
Aftershave - Superdrug Sierran Breeze
Balm - Nivea Sensitive Pro Ultra-Calming Facial Balm
Smelly - Bellini Homme EDP
Refreshment - Kenyan loose leaf tea
I thought some of the Nivea products I received in a PIF that I won just before Christmas (cheers @ATG) needed an outing. The cream is odd stuff, very ‘gloopy’ but can be worked into an excellent lather, cushioning and lasting. So a comfortable, smooth 2 pass shave ensued and was finished off with the matching balm and a new smelly from Lidl. All wonderful.
Did I see a cat earlier, nah, can’t have, now where was I, oh yes…
