Though I had a good Shave yesterday with a 1912 , the heavier Razor today topped it.An over abundant lather made the Shave really smooth, but the Razor is so efficient that the Shave time seemed quite short. I am a bit worried that this run of great Shaves will end in mishap, most likely at the wrong time.

Last night's SOTD:

First outing with Wickhams Buddha Wood. Nice soap and balm with a great scent.

First outing also with a Yaqi Mysterious Space Tuxedo Fan knot. There's no glue bump in this knot and whilst it worked well it was much ‘springier' than I would have liked. For the price, though, it's an excellent brush.

Second outing with the Rocnel Elite and I remain impressed with it. This is a very smooth razor. No blade feel and a really efficient shave.

I used some Trumpers skin food as a pre-shave as I was given a sample with a recent purchase. I've not used it for years as I never found it to be an effective AS Balm. It's okay as a pre-shave but is nowhere as good as an pre-shave oil.

Overall the results were good and it was an enjoyable shave. [emoji846]

Sunday shave with new Omega boar. This brush is a small wonder. I have used, and not enjoyed large knot boar brushes in the past. I felt boar brushes were not (no pun intended) for me, badger and synthetic brushes were superior. This little inexpensive brush has changed my opinion.
