Shaves of Lavender

Prep ~ Shower, Lavender Gycerin soap
Razor ~ Blackland Sabre L1
Blade ~ Gem Stainless
Soap ~ Stirling - Bergamont Lavender
Brush ~ Stirling Boar
Bowl ~ TSR Group Buy
Post ~ Bart's Lavender Aftershave Lotion
Scent ~ L' Occitan Pour Homme edt

A lovely relaxing lavender shave starting with Norfolk Lavender Co Gycerin soap and once clean and skin hydrated it was time to lather up with the fab Bergamont Lavender shave soap from Stirling this was done with the very capable Stirling Boar brush which is breaking in nicely now and showing great promise.
Once lathered it was time to draw my Sabre from its scabbard and get mowing, an easy job for the sabre even with the L1 plate fitted, a fantastic weapon of beard distruction, BBS achieved.
More lavender in the form of Bart's Lavender aftershave lotion, a great scent with nourishing oils, my skin is now smooth, feeling and smelling fantastic! A spray or five of For Man by L' Occtane and I was well shaved, smelling great and totaly relaxed, the power of Lavender!

Have yourselves a relaxing Bank holiday Monday (UK) P. :)image.jpg

If this knot was set 5mm lower it would possibly be my favourite boar brush, as it is, it's a wee bit floppy but a pleasure to use all the same.
The Sabre enjoyed the slickness of the Proraso and my skin enjoyed the splash.
Happy Shaving one and all.

Vreto 'Mystic Woods' ~ Yaqi Purple Haze ~ BIC 1 ~ Nivea 2-Phase

Today mystic woods had a run out, nice stuff. Great v5 performance with a well blended scent, one minute I thought it more woody than mystic and then the next it seemed to be more mystic than woody! The old BIC 1 disposables never fail to give a great 3 pass shave, preferable to the Rocket I have been using which is mad.
