A good start to the day with a pleasant two pass shave. The Dandelion brush created a wonderful lather with the Danum very easily, and the Fatboy and Silver Blue wiped it, and the stubble away for a smooth finish.

Mon 28th March

RR 400. SE Plissoft noir
Officina Artigiana
Schick Type F
NOS Schick S/S single- Japan ( 3 )
Officina Artigiana A/S lotion

This Razor is so nice to hold during a Shave that it makes the Shave a pleasure, and of course the quality of finish is not bad too.

Evening all,

Prep, hot water and flannel
Soap, Lea Cream (Blue one)
Brush, Simpsons Trafalgar T2 24mm Synthetic
Razor, Muhle Rocca V4
Blade, Silver Super Stainless Lords (1st use)
A/S, Wars Classic

The cream lathered up very well. Inoffensive scent very old school. I’d suggest this brush works better for bowl lathering for me. But I’ll try another shaving stick, maybe a La Toja to just be sure.

Usual 3 pass shave. Not a huge amount of material to deal with but the razor performed well. Smooth and efficient.

Very pleased with the end results, zero irritation, no nicks / cuts / weepers etc.

Have a good evening all.

Best,

Ben

Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: M&F / Brad Sears Finest Badger
Cream: Proraso Cypress & Vetyver
Razor: Above The Tie S1 / UFO Tornado
Blade: Vintage NOS Gillette Aussie Spoiler (8)
Post: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel, Proraso Green Aftershave Lotion
Scent: Proraso Cypress & Vetyver cologne

An effortless shave with this set-up. The Proraso cream gave me a post shave that was very good indeed; punching well above its weight.

Ah ah. Super and a great showing by team shave for this evening

Hurrah, Hurrah for Japanese girly bands. Except may be

Who are they? I don't have a clue. My bible for Japanese female bands doesn't throw up much light and not as though I am going to chase to hard to find out either. They do have interesting band member names though. But whoever they are you can have a whole 12+ minutes of them. Bet you can't last much further than the first 2

SOTD: 28/03/2022

Razor: Hone 15
Blade: Gillette Nacet, 2nd use
Brush: Yaqi Yaqi Green Obsidian Silvertip Silvertip Badger
Bowl: Captains Choice Copper Lather Bowl Standard Bowl
Preshave: PAA Cube Unscented Soap
Soap: Hampshire Wool Fat No. 1 Puck
Aftershave: Paco Rabanne 1 Million EDT
Balm: L’Oreal Men Expert Reinforcing Aftershave Balm
Additional Care: Osma Laboratoires Alum Block

After my brief love affair with the Bandit I went back to my true love the Hone in preparation for its steel sibling to arrive. As always smooth and mild while gently efficient. The HWF was a simple delight which was perked up with the splash.
A nice and simple start to the day!
