Quick face and noggin scrape this morning, but still a good DFS. I can always depend on my Vector, one of my favorite single edge razors! Brined the turkey overnight. Am off early with the bride to prepare Thanksgiving dinner. This is the first of two - her family today, and mine this Sunday.

SOTD Thursday 28 November 2019

Pre-shave: Warm shower, Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser, followed by Prorasso Red Pre/post Shave.
Soap: MDC.
Brush: Shavemac Flattop.
Razor: Pils 101NE.
Blade: Shark Platinum (Day 3).
Post: Pitralon Swiss, followed by Bioaroma After Shave Moisturizing Face Cream.
EDP: Molinard Cuir (Leather).

A very relaxing 2 pass shave WTG and XTG, with no issues to report. Circa 10 hours after shaving my skin still feels very good.

The Pils loaded with the Shark Platinum is a fine combination; smooth, effective and comfortable; as ever I appreciate YMMV.

All the best,

Chris

Nivea Originals Shave Cream
Maggards Synthetic
3D Printed Bowl
RazoRock Game Changer .84-P
Gillette Silver Blue (3)
Superdrug Forest Fresh ASL

The 3D Printed Bowl works wonders, making good soaps/creams even better
Nivea Cream, although very cheap, certainly performs very well
A good, comfortable shave
Finished with Forest Fresh ASL - another product that performs beyond it's price point

OSP Grapefruit and Menthol
Yaqi Red Marble Tuxedo 24mm synth.

Gillette No. 88
Schick Super Stainless (NOS)
Thayer's Rose Petal and Aloe Vera
Fine Snake Bite after shave
Floris Elite EdT

Apologies; I hadn't settled on a fragrance during the time of the photo. It may seem slightly crazy to use a menthol based soap and cryogenic after shave as the crowning glory to my customary cold water shaves. Especially as it's getting slightly nippy up here.

I found the vintage Schick blades at the back my blades drawer; and they are very sharp and smooth...5615D075-D8C4-48B9-8CC6-D5B4923660F4.jpeg
