Prep: Shower, Palmolive Olive Oil Soap
Soap: Arko
Brush: Shaving Factory Bristle xs
Razor: Shaving Factory SF289
Blade: Derby Extra (1)
Post: Superdrug Sierran Breeze ASL, Bulldog Balm
So there we have it - two months to the day after joining this forum. Two months of generous PIFs, recommendations and downright enabling have led to the moment where the SF289 no longer cuts the mustard. The Arko and the little bristle brush will remain, but it's time for this razor to be removed from rotation. It's only by upgrading my shaves - mainly due to advice received on here - that I now see the gulf between what is a decent starter kit, and what is also available out there. Next step will be to give the 1912 a run out some time soon, but I've no intention of heading off down the straight path.
Yet.......
