SOTD : Saturday 20th February to Friday 26th February 2021

Sat 20th SOTD
Soap CBL Fusion Dragon's Blood 1st Use!
Brush Yaqi 28mm Tuxedo
Razor Yaqi DOC
Blade American Shave Platinum 3rd
Post & Aftershaves Ice Water + Thayers + Hyaluronic + Old Spice Original
Quite an interesting scent from the lather. Can't really place it except it's kinda heavy and rich like. Medium strength throughout. The quality is amazing...richly creamy and very slick from just a little. The post-shave feel is good too...
Shave with the razor and blade pairing is one of the best. Nicely smooth and comfortable for 3passes without any issues for a mostly BBS result!

Greetings,

(vintage SE razor Week)

A new shave set up to start the weekend....It's been a while since i last gave my vintage SE razors a run out starting the weekend off with my Ever-Ready 1914, as always it was a pleasure to shave with...The vintage Ever-Ready SE razors don't get the credit they so rightly deserve paired up with the Gem PTFE blade it mowed through my stubble with smooth efficiency...My fondness for the Eco Warrior shaving bar grows with each shave... A wonderful performing shaving soap that gives a superb post shave feel.

A very enjoyable 3 pass + pickups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a small dollop of Creightons Sensitive PSB.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

Pre: Prosaso pre shave cream (mint-eucaliptus)
Cyril Salter hard soap
Boar brush Amici della Pogonotomia, bowl lathering
Rocnel Elite 2020
Astra blue SS
Post: alum
AS: Alvarez Gomez Agua de Colonia concentrada
Soundtrack: Tchaikovsky Piano concerto nr1

The Rocnel proves to be very mild, quite effective but definitely not super deep. Comfort and ease of mind are guaranteed, I think it's a very forgiving deign. Nice almost-BBS, but will last <24 hours

Folks, have a great weekend and stay safe

Saturday 20th Feb

• Ach Brito Mogno
• YaqI Chianti 24mm Synthetic
• RazoRock Hawk V3-A
• Schick Proline P30 (6)
• Proraso Green ASL

The Proline on it's sixth shave seems to be getting even smoother.
The Hawk is becoming a firm favourite - I've used it exclusively for a couple of weeks, and I'm not missing my DE's yet.
Mogno soap provides a lovely creamy protective, slick lather, with a nice scent to boot.
Finished with Proraso Green for a menthol tingle.
