Although I really like it Chris, I cannot see me pulling the trigger just yet, even though I have 1 in my basket @ Carbon shaving and 2 in my watch list on the Flea bee.
I want to reduce the collection, that could take a couple of years, to get a smaller rotation.
Saying all that - who knows what will happen during Friday nights drinky, must stay clear of the Rum.

All good - taking the lead from SatanFriendly earlier I decided to encrypt my sotd. I'm not really sure why other than I have time on my hands - as do you, if you are reading it in English. As you will now know - it is a simple 'shift' cipher - three rotation left - attributed to the Roman emperor Julius Caesar, who apparently used the system on the battlefield. It is hardly going to need Bletchley Park to work it out! This sort of system is vulnerable to 'brute force' attack - or even easier, most of you will be able to guess what certain words mean and take it from there.

So - the shave. Excellent - I haven't used a vintage injector for a while, they work very well for me. Close, comfortable and safe. I'm not sure the Injectomatic deserves the 'Schick-buster' label it is sometimes given but it is pretty good none the less. Job done - have good shaves one and all - stay safe - yours - I.

... as usual, a free bag o'nowt if you can guess the album cover. Living legends, this lot!

Another blade from the Malhotra house, the Laser Ultra is their basic stainless blade (not listed in their premium line) which is billed as being triple coated. It's the other side of the road from the RK Stainless that I tried recently - that one felt like a carbon blade, this one feels Russian with a similar feel in many ways to the VOSKHOD Stainless.

As always, I'll know a bit more about the character of this blade with a second shave.
