I also had a look at the Flexi today?

Well that pulled apart easily enough, the head i did not want to force.

Opened the clip a bit and it went back together easily enough.
The question is?
Rattle or no Rattle

Rattle still there im afraid, it was only very slight anyway and i have now seen what it is. It no way spoils the shave from this brilliant razor.
Stay Safe and enjoy your day All.

My shave with the theme 'There is no theme'

No silly names, no Giphy and no Japanese music. Just a good old 'ain't this one sweet and wonderful shave?'

A razor with no name - Stainless Mongoose
Where the blades have no name - Schick Proline
A brush by no other name - Wee Whiskey Barrel
Nameless soap - The Bath House Cuban Cedar and Lime
That's not my name - The Bath House Cuban Cedar and Lime Cologne

'On behalf of the SOTD standards committee I really must complain of the intended lack of Japanese Girls at the end of this particular SOTD'

Hit play and.........................

Would it not function flawlessly without the clip, it would just be a three piece like a Single Ring.

Another holiday shave with a different scent from the same Greek artisan in a vegan base. Feeling refreshed, skin smooth and a very light post shave, perfect for the hot weather!

Prep: Face wash with PAA cube unscented.

Pre: PAA cube unscented.

Soap: A&E Barbiere Sofisticato.

Brush: ZENITH unbleached bristle chrome handle 2000 C XSE

Razor: Hone 15a

Blade: Astra SP

Post: Alum and Baxter’s aftershave balm.

As I hoped I love this razor. I managed to have a later shave once it arrived and it was really worth the wait! It’s so light and manoeuvrable like my Twig in many respects but mild and efficient. It’s almost so mild I can’t imagine anyone ever getting a nick from it. A lovely first shave and I can’t wait to try it out with a more aggressive blade! Many thanks @Boycie83 for the dip into the emporium!

Friday 20th August

Ganders Goat Soap w/Hop, Sage & Birch
OSP Sandalwood Shaving Cream
RazoRock Bruce w/Plissoft Synthetic 24mm
GEM Junior
GEM by Personna Stainless PTFE (5)
Jovan Musk Aftershave Cologne

Happy Friday!

I've enjoyed a week with OSP's Sandalwood Shaving Cream, which I'll be rolling into the weekend with the corresponding soap. More fun scrapes with miscellaneous ASR razors from the early 1900s to the 1950s.

Have a great weekend, guys!
