I'm glad you like it - not so much the coconut - that's just the scent - the soap base has a large amount of argan oil in it. I.

The post use feel is amazing clearly Argan Oil suits my skin as I believe that is the base for Bart's Balms too. Both the soaps you sent me are out of this world. Thank you Iain. R

My way of declaring that the kindly gifted PIF items from Boycie arrived Today wow this soap absolutely burst into mountains of thick silky lather, more than I was expecting! Not sure how I feel about the scent right now though, I'm going to finish off with the Tabac

Pre:

warm wet flannel to my face.


Simple ~ Sensitive Pure Soap Bar.


Brush: Fine ~ 24mm Synthetic.


Bowl Lather.


Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.


Uber/Superlather : The Body Shop Maca Root Shave Cream + Williams Mug Shaving Soap.


Blade: Personna Gem PTFE.(6)


Razor: Ever Ready 1914. (US)

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade Lavender, eucalyptus + Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./ Pashana ASL.

Early Morning Shave,

The gem ptfe blade has excelled itself yet again!!..On it's sixth outing it still performed with smooth brilliance showing no signs of dragging or tugging inbetween each pass..Astoundingly good...I will retire it now though as six, 3 pass +pick ups shaves from one blade is enough for me.

A very enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Baylis & Harding ~ Sandalwood & Amber ASB,which paired together with Pashana ASL wonderfully.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling devine.

Excellent scent from the lather throughout the shave. Lather quality was ok. Shave with razor paired with blade was terrific! Sharp but super smooth! Good example of an aggressive blade in a mild razor. 3+1pass. Achieved BBS today! No weepers nor irritation at all!
Rare Rating of 10/10!!!
Felt absolutely fantastic!

A pleasant shave and another good finish from the Lupo. I'm a bit disappointed in the brush though. It looks great but the glue bump is too high.

Maiden voyage for the Rocket brush. It's beautifully soft and a real lather hog. No bristle loss whatsoever during lathering.

Plenty of rich lather from the Salter soap; and the Rockwell performed perfectly with a GSB. Operator error/enthusiasm caused a spot on the chin to open up; but judicious use of cold water and alum took care of any potential hypovolaemic shock.

Smelling great between the Italian Citrus and AdP. Great how a good shave has the potential to lift the spirits (no matter how briefly) in these strange times.
