Wickham 1912 Russian Leather Shaving Soap & Razorock Hive Synthetic 24mm
Leaf Twig & BIC Chrome Platinum (2)
Imperial Leather (Vintage B) Aftershave

Great! I got on perfectly well with the somewhat divisive BIC Chrome Platinum and now keen to try it in other razors.

Wed 15
Soap & Aftershave Catie's Bubbles Le Piment De La Vie & Aqua Velva Ice Blue
Brush DS Cosmetics 26mm Silvertip
Razor & Blade Pearl OC & Gillette Platinum
This soap has a great aromatic scent and the lather whip-up by the excellent brush was fabulous too...
The razor and blade pairing was flawless, providing a smooth, comfortable, and efficient shave...

Brush: C&H 'Mammoth' V15
Soap: A&E Vanille de Tabac
Razor: Blackland Sabre
Blade: GEM PTFE (1)
Post: A&E Vanille de Tabac

Very nice shave, smooth run and nice finish. The lather took a bit of work this morning though, to be fair the Mammoth brush can be a bit of a hog so a heavy load works better.

Smelling good and ready for the day!

Hope everyone has a good un.

Cheers

Marc

Wednesday 15 November
An Italian bias this morning, with Razorine razors and Veresino soap but with best of British Simpson Emperor brush and a Russian blade.
Why use two razors? Well why not, just to keep my hand in with the in line Razorine for a first pass wtg and then to finish atg and pick ups with the more standard de Flatboy.
I love the Saponificio products, lovely scents and soft on the skin, with no irritation.
Shaving bliss and ready for another day and it’s not raining, what on earth has happened? Not used to dry days :ROFLMAO:
Enjoy the day fellas!

Wed 15th November

Aleppo soap- Shave pre wash
Stirling Syn 26mm
La Toja stick- grated
ER 1912 Bathroom set
Gem S/S ( 2 )
La Toja A/S Lotion

After a long run of AC/SE Shaves, returning to Vintage is always a challenge, as not so forgiving. However, this 1912 is always a good choice as by slowing down and concentrating, I managed to get a pretty decent fault free finish.

Pre - Pears Transparent Original
Brush - Vintage Butterscotch Culmak Plus Pure Bristle 1950
Soap - Stirling Soap co. Bay Rum
Razor - Henkel's Rapide (1911 ) #512125 Patent 02/01/1894
Blade - Henkel's Rapide
Post - Cold water Rinse
Balm - Tonyschin's Bay Rum Argan Oil
A/S - DR Harris Bay Rum
Wk 46 (5).jpg
As always when using the Rapide i have just had a very special shave, i gave the blade about 10 laps on the CrOx balsa paddle then 30 laps on the leather.
I completed my 2 pass straight razor routine and managed an easy BBS, comfortable finish. The blade felt as if it was tugging a little around the chin, although, this could have been my shave angle.
A very nice post shave routine finishing a wonderful bit of sink time.
Enjoy your evening all.

Razor = Karve CB Aluminium Plate C
Blade = Brazilian Wilko ( 2 )
Brush = Simpsons Chubby 1 in Best
Soap = Mastro Miche Jack The Shaver
with matching splash.

IMG_3226.jpegAnother very good shave with this new soap.
i have to say at £7 a pop it’s definitely worth it,
I wouldn’t have bought 4 but as i said previous my wife’s nuts..
If i didn’t know better i would say these soaps are in collaboration with Razorock but there not however the similarities are uncanny.
Anyway i’m ranting,
i had 2 passes of wonderful lather on a very small chubby 1.
Enjoy Boys & Girls
