A delightful session whipping up this beautiful lather from the soap with an excellent brush! The pleasant, refreshing scent + slickness are top quality. Matched nicely by the awesome splash.
A good shave with the razor paired with the blade...could be better, possibly due to the old blade's edge—3passes without issues for a dfs finish

Pre - Sainsbury's Luxury Soap, Bergamot & Nectarine
Brush - Semogue SOC BTS Boar
Soap - OSP No. 08
Razor - Blackland Tradere
Blade - Gillette Nacet
Post - Cold water Rinse
Balm - Tonyschin's Cedarwood and Patchouli Argan Oil and Balm
A/S - OSP #08
Wk 40 (2).JPG
I always overload these boar brushes when face lathering just to make sure they do not hog the lather, they do seem to improve as they break in. The OSP produced a great lather and enough for 2 passes held in the brush.
A new Nacet in the Tradere giving me the confidence of going straight in ATG for the first pass, easily clearing most of the stubble, i finished off with a XTG pass leaving me comfortable and BBS.
Stay safe and enjoy your day all.

Was the Feather Pro smooth in the Hawk, Mark?
I've yet to use one in mine having recently acquired some.

Nice turn of phrase Tony, “…….boar brushes………….do not hog the lather”, (y)

Keeping the OCtober Open Comb theme going I went with my 1917 Gillette single ring.
Taylor OBS Sandlewood cream,
Rubberset 400 homage,
Wilkinson/Gillette blade,
At 105 years old this razor is still extremely comfortable and easy to use, belying it’s great age. I’d like to think we all might look and perform equally as well at that age  although the razor could probably go on for another 100 years.
Have a lovely Sunday fellas!
