Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap
Brush: Tony Forsyth P&C LE 2017 Platypus High Mountain White Badger;
Soap: Phoenix and Beau Pall Mall
Razor: Wolfman WR1
Blade: Vintage NOS Wilkie Light Brigade (12)
Post: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel, Florida Water (Peruvian)
Scent: Farina 1709 Original Cologne

Lovely citrus-inspired shave - the P&B soap has excellent cushion.
I have a slight preference for the Peruvian version of Florida Water - whilst very similar to its North American equivalent, I find the Peruvian version a little more well rounded, but still retaining a good citrus zing.

Pre - Shower, Cold water Face rinse
Brush - Yaqi Sagrada Familia 24mm
Soap - OSP Neroli
Razor - Blackland Dart
Blade - Rapira Platinum Lux (1)
Post - Cold water Rinse, TC's infused Witch Hazel
Balm - Barts Balm Amber and Moroccan Jasmine Balm & Lotion
A/S - OSP Neroli

The Dart was a razor i could not get on with in 2019, i just could not get a comfortable shave from it so it was moved on, i regretted it from the day it was adopted as i loved how it looked and how it feels in the hand, therefore, earlier this year it was replaced with a new one.
With a "milder" blade it is still a very efficient razor and for me it works a treat. Maybe my technique has improved - i hope so.
With a Platinum Lux loaded and a gentle touch i have a BBS result from 2 passes.
I did catch the nick from yesterday, however, that was not an issue today.
I am fully Neroli'd up and a very happy shaver.
Stay safe and enjoy your day All

Today’s shave, after a warm shower.

Bowl: 3D Printed Bowl
Preshave: PAA Cube Unscented Soap
Soap: Master Soap Creations Night On The Town Puck
Aftershave: Master Soap Creations Night On The Town Aftershave

Additional Care: Osma Laboratoires Alum Block

Based on Jean Paul Gautier’s Le Male, I’ve hunted for a good and available soap and splash set based on this for ages. Finally I found it and it didn’t disappoint. Not only is it a spot on homage, it’s a pretty damn good soap base and in my top 3, joint with A&E. the smell is medium to mild in the tub but medium to high when lathered. The scent really hits you, but the pleasing thing is how easy it is to whip it into a slick, glossy and smooth lather! It took a minute or so at most before exploding out the bowl! I will definitely be looking to buy more as for £30 for a soap and splash, it’s excellently priced! An all round great shave!
Enjoy your day guys.

This afternoon -

razor - Vector (on loan)
blade - Feather Pro (3)
brush - Simpson Special best
soap - A&E Revolution
post - witch hazel
a/s - RazoRock Santa Maria del Fiore
balm - none
scent - Gotas Frescas Hombre.

Finished off the A&E soap sample - overall I thought it ticked all the boxes. This was the kaizen base - which I found a step up in every respect from the original formulation, which was pretty good to start with. I'd definitely consider a full tub. The Vector passed - with flying colours - the 'shit, I forgot about that, I need to shave really quickly and out,' test. No sense of danger at all despite going at a pace I wouldn't normally choose. Impressive razor indeed. Shave well - I.

Today's shave with the theme 'Schick, slick or just fucking brilliant?'

20211007_160212.jpg

Dastardly good? - Claymore Evolution
It bloody fits - Schick Proline
Thank you to someone ;) - DC shaves Cashmere
Thank you to TK Maxx - Menrock Scicilian Lime
Cream my face - Faena

Verdict? Fucking brilliant

Do I have the only Evolution in existence which takes any blade without issues?

Those brilliant Beavers

Should you perhaps ask @Bogeyman for some of his "Bukkake in a bottle" to "cream your face" ??
