Hot towel
Proraso pre shave - menthol
TOBS Sandalwood Cream
EJ BB medium brush
EJ De89/Weber Bulldog, Personna Med Prep (1)
Cold splash, alum block
Clinique post-shave healer

A late do tonight... ready for a trip in to town tomorrow morning (highlight of the week). A return to the De89 after mucking about with vintage razors for a while... and nothing to complain about at all. Smoooth!

Haryali HL-70 stainless steel handle razor
Gillette Bleue Extra NOS
TOBS Shaving Shop cream
Edwin Jagger tortoiseshell boar

Nice weight and balance to this razor. Head feels medium-aggressive. Thought the Bleue Extra would give me the best chance of rating the performance. Got through the stubble on the checks no problem; some stubble remaining on the neck where I have to go against the grain. Good start but a bit early to tell. Seems to favour a shallow angle, I think, but really need to do a few more shaves to be certain.
There are some gold-coloured patches and some minor scratching to the head. The thread screws into my aluminium Tech and my New perfectly.

Friday

iKon OSS Razor
Gillette 7 O'Clock Yellow Blade
Edwin Jagger Silvertip Brush
Palmolive Shave Stick
Clinique Post Shave Soother

First and last shave with the OSS. A wonderfully good looking and well contsructed razor, but mild with a capital MILD. The Jagger DE89 that I used yesterday is more aggresive, and the OSS is now off to a new home. It's the Feather AS all over again.
