Very satisfying shave. The Irisch moos set up provided a good lather and the balm gives a slight cooling effect.

My best shave to date, BBS and zero irritation. I got the C&S soap this morning, from my local shaving shop, after Dodgy's recommendation yesterday, it is just excellent, pricey, but fantastic. The Voskhod has left an impression! This may be my new favourite blade, it needs to get a thorough testing before I commit to stocking up but first impressions are great. As for the 444, I'm sure it's Portuguese Bonjella! but it cools and refreshes brilliantly and if I ever get a mouth ulcer I know where to look. The Lavanda EdC has a really nice scent but has longevity issues. However, it's relatively cheap.

Two pass shave today (W/XTG) that overall isn't bad. I'm not sure about these blades - they don't stand out for me. So far I much prefer my Rapiras. That said, I struggle with OC razors (today was a learning exercise!) so I'll give the blade a go in my EJ, which is my control razor.

I've been sick and I hadn't shaved in 5 days (that hasn't happened in many, many years), so I brought out some heavy hitters (MdC and the W&B) and it feels sooo good now, even though I'm still weak as a kitten and still sick :D
