Decided to give my other Old a run out today. Got a very nice shave from it, but I don't know if I like it that much. I couldn't feel where the blade was at all, so I think the quality of the shave was more by luck than judgement.

I gave the R41 a very wide birth when it came out but I took a punt on one a couple of weeks ago and haven't looked back. It's become my first ever "...from my cold dead hand" razor. Love it!

One of my best DE shaves yet! Blade seemed very sharp and very smooth and technique is improving too. Loving the Ingrams but the OS cologne is going to upset me greatly when its finished. Martin, that very kind man, PIF'd me some in a sample atomizer bottle and I've fallen for it big time and that from someone who never usually wears cologne or EDT. Stotting around the garden with my nose down my shirt taking a deep snort - neighbours will be thinking I've really cracked this time! Where and how the hell will I get more?

Seriously Martin, huge thanks buddy.

Glad you found the juice amusing. I believe it dates from the 1980s and yeah, it's held up well over the years.

The first squirt's free, but the next one's gonna cost you. By now, you can see it's addictive nature, but not much you can do about it. Luckily I have a small stash and of course I'm willing ti share.

This razor's so good and I never expected that, really + I had to hone it three times to get it good - I guess it's maybe a case of "if you work hard with something you appreciate it more"-syndrome.

First time using the Nomad cream. Love the smell. Really comes out when you lather it. Smells as strong as an EDT to me, and I have a cold at the moment. Kind of wish I'd bought the cologne to match, or maybe the ASB, but then where do I stop?

Same. The mildness of this razor does tend to encourage me to over-shave to get the smoothness I like resulting in a little bit of irritation on my neck this morning. I should just settle for a bit less close with it really. 1 of the more aggressive earlier models or the M type adjustable may well suit me better.
