SOTD sat 21 july through to fri 27th july.

This morning:

Prep: Face wash, Imperial Leather bath soap, cold
Razor: Joseph Rodgers "The Favorite", restored by Jamie
Brush: Neep #947 yew ball and bobbin silvertip
Soap: Klar Kabinett
Aftershave: Prof Blighty's Red Ginger

Still a bit tuggy, but a fantastic three-pass shave with completely comfortable close result.. I was reminded by a post from Old Blade Grinder that lather should thin for each pass, which I think helped. Also switched up my pass order again - there are two sequences I go back and forth between, unable to decide which is "right".

Second go with the 38C.

Somerset's Sensitive Shave Oil
Arko
Merkur Black 38C
Blue Diamond (2)
Alum
Nivea Q10
Limon Kolonyasi

Much better shave all round, still a bit of hot face and I'm not getting the left side as close as the right. Oh! I managed to give myself a weeper on the lip as well :(

Still, I'm appreciating the technique refinement aspect of the change of razor.

Pre Veleiro soap + Irisch Moos stick + New Forest 2213 + Rotbart 15.5 with Laser #3 + Irisch Moos lotion with Herbíssimo balm

A decent shave although Laser blade isn't in good state... I can't beleive that I haven't used Irisch Moos products for a long time!

Cheers!

This was my second cold water shave. I'm not sure if it's the soap or the cold water but absolutely zero irritation, my skin has never looked so good after a shave!
