Wow, that was one of the best shaves I've had. I think the Floris soap is the best one of the big London soaps.

Decided yesterday not to shave as Thursday I decided to hack my face a little, I wasn't wide awake and my mind was wondering !

Tabac stick
Rooney Style One
EJ89
Rapira / Gillette Super Platinum
Jack Black Gel
Opus 1870

Well the Tabac stick is excellent and it lathers up a treat with my soft water. It's the first Shave Stick I have tried, it's going to be a great one for travelling.

Used the Rooney as its, apart from my boar, the stiffest brush I have for face lathering. Started off with a Rapira, I purchased 100 from Shavenet recently, and sorry to say, I'm not liking them much. I switched after half of my first pass to a Gillette Super ( the dark blue / black ones ). Much better !! Lovely smooth shave. That shave also finished off the last of the Jack Black Gel, luckily I ordered another yesterday.
