Friday Morning

After yesterdays adventure with a Feather in an R41 I needed something a bit calmer today.

Prep: Hot Shower
Brush: Neep 28mm Extra Silvertip in Kenya Soapstone
Cream: TOBS Eton College
Razor: Weber Polished with Wave handle
Blade: Personna Red

Cold Rinse/ Witch Hazel/ RazoRock Aftershave Wax

after my terrible last shave with the P-160, which reacted badly on my skin....it was a real pleasure to have such a wonderful shave with the fantastic Monsavon... this really is a dream of a soap. :)
 
Today's shave


Gillette slim (on No5)
Feather blade
Kent BK2 brush
Talor's sandalwood shaving cream
Geo.f trumper sandalwood skin food to finish


I decided to take the slim for a spin,a trusted razor which never give me a rough ride. I know the fatboy is razor porn,and shaves closer,but the slim is just more comfy for me and since I was fancying a less aggressive shave tonight the slim won.

Result BSS WTG.
 
This morning

Prep: Proraso pre/post white
Brush: Turkish no6 horsey
Soap: MWF
Razor: Slim (on 5)
Blade: 7 o'clock yellow (2)
Post: alum and Blightys Punchinello balm.
 
Scent from Heaven almond shaving soap
EJ boar
Schick M adjustable on 2 with Gillette Platinum Plus
Scent from Heaven smells like Escape moisturising balm

Not super-close (something up with the blade? it's normally one of the sharpest ever) but perfectly decent and no soreness
