Prep: Shower
Razor: Pal Injectomatic
Blade: Schick Krona Edge Vintage
Brush: Semogue 830 Boar
Soap: Fume Lavender
Aftershave: Dove Sensitive balm

A super close but not a comfortable shave. I started with a blued ASR carbon blade that came as NOS with a razor but I abandoned it very quickly as it tugged so badly it brought tears to my eyes, I had tried these blades before and wondered if I had judged them prematurely; I have not!

I then fitted a Schick Krona Edge NOS blade I think these are 60s/70s blades, they are very sharp but they do tug/drag.

I have come to the conclusion that although I am in my sixties I have only been safety razor shaving for about 9 years, consequently I have never really experienced non coated or carbon blades, and I am sure that a coated modern blade glides over the skin and cuts so much smoother than a non coated blade, even if that non coated blade has a superior cutting edge.

I have ended up with a really superb shave but it wasn't pleasant getting there!

New head is a bit more aggressive than the original one (and slightly different shape) and I tried a blade I'd used before (Bleue) and a very smooth blade (SC) to realise this.
Not bad. Might experiment with these two heads a bit more.

Result: Very, very clean :D
This large (8/8) and heavy kamisori is my least aggressive one, the size and pure weight scares me every time I take it out, but it's really a nice kitten kamisori (even though I got a small scratch under my honker).
