2 x WTG passes with the Kropp, and then a WTG pass with the Trumper DE. The DE removed more stubble than the Kropp.

Boxing Day

A rather monochrome shave today, which suggested this background and a chance to post a gratuitous pic of Debbie Harry. My dad would approve.

Nothing much to report, but I'd like to put a word in for two of the ladies in my shaving life. Firstly, Sharon, for the gold frankincense and myrrh Christmas soap I used beforehand, which has met with instant approval from me and more importantly Mrs A; and secondly Elaine for the Honeyspice. I still rate this very highly, and it deserves your attention, gentlemen.

Overall a lovely shave. My 404 is just getting better and better as I use it. It's just ideal for soaps. Prof B's grapewood is just a awesome scent for a Product. Also nice slip too.

Pretty nice shave, it will be the same for the next 2 shaves.

How's the proglide going big V? Any improvement over the regular fusion?

Chalk and cheese.

The original Fusion can be a bit 'draggy' for the first couple of shaves, the head is a bit too wide and deep and a cartridge will last me about two weeks.

The Proglide is smoother from the start, more maneuverable (especially round the ears for head-shaves) and lasts twice as long.

Nice shave for a first DE attempt, close and smooth in most places, bit shabby in a few detail areas, but I'm nervous so was going easy. One tiny nick on top lip.

Taking the next 2 weeks to trial a few different blades, Derby Extra are up next.
