Art of Shaving lavender - NF2211 - Gillette Slim on 5 - Gillette Bleue (1) - Aqua Velva
Haven't used this cream for a couple of months and I'd forgotten how good it is. It lathers up a treat in seconds. Very nice comfortable, smooth, easy shave. Finished off with Aqua Velva.
Was in a right rush this morning and for some reason I decided to use the cartridge. First cartridge shave in about a year. I find the sharp sensor excel to be one of the better cartridge shavers out there, but this shave was Awful. I look fine at the end of it. No redness and no nicks, of course. But during the shave, it felt like my hairs were being pulled out rather than cut. Not pleasant at all. The other thing I noticed was that it took almost the same time as a DE shave. Never again.
Pre: Hot facecloth
Soap: Palmolive stick
Brush: New Forest 2201
Razor: Feather AS
Blade: Feather (2)
Post: Body Shop Maca Root Razor Burn Relief
Cologne: Truefitt and Hill West Indian Limes
Again, another comfortable, smooth shave. Having worked out the Feather's different angle of attack, for me it's an absolute pleasure to use and gives, with the Feather blade, a superb shave.
Hot shower, Proraso pre.

First time with the Tobac. Enough lather to shave my whole body. Another wonderful shave today. The slim is definitely a wonderful piece of kit. All things to all men. V close and zero irritation.
Next one in the rotation is the 38R, been a few weeks, looking forward to it.

Soap: Mama Bears Rose

Plenty of time on hand today = lovely shave. Even though I think this brush needs more regular use to preform the best.
