- Very nice shave, these products rock. I've decided to use boars with hard soaps/cremes and badgers with soft cremes. The SOC is fine for the SMN sc.
- The Crema Pre/Dopo Barba is exceptional but very thick, one only needs to apply just a bit and it'll go a long way.

Saturday morning
Pre: Hot shower
Brush: New Forest silvertip
Razors: Thomas Turner´s "Everlasting" and a John Bingham for the head
Cream: Palmolive, very old
AS: Dr Harris Sandalwood
Strops: Neil Miller
Result: Very clean :D
Didn´t know what this cream would do or be like, but it was poison green and preformed excellent, slippery and protective and I liked the scent. Fantastic blades, two passes on the face and one on the head and I´m ready for whatever happens :D

Razor: Gillette Slim (1st pass on 5, 2nd pass on 5)
Blade: Personna Platinum (#3)
Brush: New Forest Silver Tip
Soap: Nanny's Silly Soap - Yushu
After Shave: Thayers Witch Hazel Aftershave with Aloe Vera
After Shave Oil: Nanny's Rose & Jojoba (sample)

Nanny's soap is wonderfully reliable for getting a decent lather and the New Forest Silver tip is just pure indulgence. I'm trying out Nanny's Rose & Jojoba oil as an aftershave moisturiser, it sinks into the skin beautifully and doesn't leave it feeling oily, instead it's just feels soft and nourished.

Saturday

Muhle R41 OC
Derby Extra (3)
Wilkinson Sword Boar
Nanny's Lavender Soap

Brut AS
Nivea ASB

The end reasult was excellent. I face lathered, and the Brush / soap didn't work particularly well together, I even had to reload the brush for the ATG/3rd pass. I'll keep them apart and both will revert to perfection again.

As I said however, the outcome was excelllent.

:D

Saturday morning

Proraso sensitive pre/post
Gillette Super + Super Thin blade
Semogue 830
Nanny's Lavender soap
GFT Rose skin food

Second go with the 830 today and first time with the Super. I face lathered this morning, but I struggled to get a decent lather with the 830 and as a result my skin felt a little raw afterwards, but the skin food settled it down well.

From My November Guest...

The desolate, deserted trees,
The faded earth, the heavy sky,
The beauties she so truly sees,
She thinks I have no eye for these,
And vexes me for reason why.

Not yesterday I learned to know
The love of bare November days
Before the coming of the snow,
But it were vain to tell her so,
And they are better for her praise.

Saturday evening

Hot shower
Erasmic cream
NF 2201
Superspeed
Derby Platinum (3)
Nivea ASB

I never feel that using a cream is such an 'event' as a soap, but having said that I couldn't fault the lather from the Erasmic tonight. The Platinum really suited the milder SS, and just an ASB as it's been such a cold day here.

Sunday
Gillette Superspeed (70's)
Feather blade
Simpson Tulip 2
MWF
Taylors of Old Bond St #74 Victorian Lime aftershave
