Friday evening
My first full straight shave. Missingskin was very kind in sending me a straight and strop last autumn, I used it a dozen times or so, but gave up mid December due to the time pressures of Christmas etc. I had mediocre success, down to my technique and stropping I suspect, and always needed to touch up with a DE. But today I purely used the straight, and got an acceptable shave.

Technique wise i still feel very kack handed, and all I can see in the mirror is a collection of arms! I find it hard to keep my skin taught too. But after a 'few' passes I had a fairly close shave on my face and lower neck, my chin and immediately under my jawline are my problem areas now, but that was exactly the case learning to DE shave too.
