Didn't shave yesterday so had a day's growth to catch on. I don't think I have sufficient beard growth to shave every day with a DE blade, just results in me savaging my face :lol: So will leave it to shaving every 2nd day for now so I can master technique.

Prep: Hot shower

Taylors of Old Bond Street Sandalwood soap in wooden bowl
Merkur 34C HD, Astra blade

Lots of good lather built up. Took my time building it up in a bowl (tested between my fingers) and a good brushing on the face. Lather is the key I've learned!

1st pass WTG, 2nd pass XTG, 3rd pass touch ups, ATG

Nivea sensitive balm

Result .... smooth face, everywhere, even along the jawline, my problem spots. Just a couple of spots for the styptic pencil

Even now at 7.40pm 90% of my face is smooth, my neck is smooth

ANOTHER TOTALLY AWESOME SHAVE
