Nanny's french lavender hard shaving soap.
New Forest brush.
Two passes.
Nice shave.
Marvellous soap. I had expected great things, I am only sorry to say that nanny's lime soft soap has been knocked to number two position in the rankings.
Followed up with a tingle-free rub of alum, some old spice AS and a dab of clinique post shave healer.
I've had this soap for about 3 weeks. I just couldn't get a good lather from it.
So today I adopted a few techniques. These were the upside down load and a wet brush. Rather than go straight to the face, I then palm lathered until the lather was thick, then hit the face. 2 dabs of water later... Perfect
Bit of a faff for sure, but I'll stick with this soap now for a few weeks and see if I can speed things up.
